What Landis Will Land.

Congressman Henienway has been working hard for Landis, The printing chairmanship is a big plunu That committee not only oontrols all of the printing that is done for the boose, bat passes on all contracts for materials for the government printing offioe.” The above paragraph is from the Indianapolis Star’s Washington letter. The announcement of the committees will be made this week.
If Landis gets the printing chairmanship Indiana will have four chairmanships and will be better oared form the matter of oommittee assignments than any other state in tbe Union. Heretofore lowa has had that honor. The Hoosiers will be the leading faotore in shaping legislation in the coming congress.
