D. A. R. Convention.
The state conference of the D. A R. dosed at Fort Wayne Satururday. Officers elected were: Stato regent, Mrs. J. M. Fowler, of La fayette; vice regent. Mrs. R. 8RobertsoD, Fort Wayne; secretary Mrs. 8. Elliott Perkins, Indianapolis; treasurer, Mrs. W. W. Hawley, Huntington. The plan adopted to increase the memorial ball fund was that every chapter give a colonial tea on January 6, Was* - ingtonās wedding day, the cup and saucer to be sold with the contents. Mrs. G. E. Murray, of this city, the former state treasurer, was renominated tor a re-election, but declined to accept another term.
