Too Willing. It was Just after dusk, and a naan was busily' engaged digging np celery in a suburban garden. To him came a policemen, who was making the rounds of his beat in a leisurely fashion. V' ■ “Come and hold me a light, will you, constable?” said the man who was digging. Jbe policeman obligingly complied, and threw the light of his bull'seye on the scene. The work progressed, and in a short time forty or fifty beads of celery were obtained. “TberO, that will do now,” said the digger, and be gave the man in blue half-a-dozen heads fpr his courtesy. The next night another man stopped the policeman at the same place and asked him If he had seen any one in his garden the night before, as he had had the greater part of his celery stolen.
