Three Injured In One Game.

The Remington foot ball team defeated the Lafayette Athletics at Remington Thursday afternoon, 18 to 0. The Lafayette boys were not only defeated but they returned home badly crippled. One of their players received a badly broken leg, another had a shoulder Severely wrenched and the third Siad the muscles of his legs considerably bruised. It is asserted that the numerous injuries were not due to rough playing on the part of Remington but to an unusual run of hard luck on the part of the Lafayette boys. It is rather strange however that so much “hard * nek” should happen to one team in a single game and none at all to the other team.
