A Novel Steam Boiler Ordered.

Babcock & Hopkins have ordered a new “Iowa” boiler for their power plant at their e’evator, which they expect to arrive in a few days. It is of a new and great’y improved make, end though proving very popular wherever introduced, there is as yet only one other instal’ed in Indiana, in the southern part of the Btate Thiß boiler complete, consists practically of two boilers, one above the other, the lower one also forming the furnace, and in which the fire is in direct contact with a great number of water tubes. Babcock & Hopkins buy only this lower furnace portion and use it in combination with their present boiler, which is a new and good one'. The manufacturers of this lova boiler guarantee that it will double the boiler power without any increase of fuel.
