The Corn Show.
A Good Showing of Jasper County’s Great Crop. The oorn show entries dosed at one p. m., Wed. and the judging was at once proceeded with, The entries numbered 64 ( there being from 12 to 50 «ars in eaoh entry. The judges were James Wood and Mr. Roberta, of the firm of Wood Brothers of Chioago. The judges after long hesitation, and freely admitted that all were good, and the best hard to select, awarded the prizes as follows: WHITE OOBN First Prize, L. H. Myers. Second Prize, Cecil Clouse. YELLOW COEN -—7 - - First Prize, C. F. Lowman. Second Prize, Mel Laßue. CALICO COEN First Prize, John Nichols. Second Prize, A. J. Biggs. red corn ' * First Prize, A. Woodworth. Second Prize, J. N. Sample. The sweepstakes was given to Mr. Lowman, on his exhibit of yellow corn. There was a good sized crowd in attendance. The Military band gave two musical selections and E. P. Honan made a short address.
