Jasper connty people were interested parties in a wedding which took place at Pontiac, 111., last Wednesday noon, October 21st, 1903. The parties w« re Mr. James R. Baker, son of J. N. Baker, of Barkley tp., this county, end Miss, Came Parlin, of Pontiac. The wedding was held at the residence of the bride’s sunt, with . whom she lived Mrs. fl. M Bricker. Rev, Wasmuth, a M. JS. pjipistor performed the ceremony. The groomsman was his brother, Glean Baker and the bridesmaid, Miss Cena Graves. The groom’s sister, Mfss Nora Baker, alap attended the wedding. A very fine wedding dinner and many elegant bridal presents were features of the affair.f The groom and his brother "and sister k drove over to Pontiac, by team, and after the wedding, with the fair young bride added to the party, they drove back again, arriving here Friday afternoon They are staying for the present with Hr. Baker’s father and have not yet fully decided on their future residence
