Indianapolis News. Benjamin J. Gifford and J. E Jones, president and secretary of the Chicago & Wabash Valley railroad, representing the board of directors of the road, this morning filed, a petition with the Secretary of permission to extend line north from the terminus in-Jasper county, a distance of ten miles, passing through Eagle Creek and Cedar Creek townships in Lake county.
