Kindest Kind Is the Fastest Kind.
Ddlos Thompson arrived home Monday afternoon from Boston Mass., where he closed a remarkably successful racing season with his great Trotter, Kinde.-t Kind. Mr. Thompson first began racing his horse the middle of the summer, making a tour of the Gas Belt Circuit. After finishing the season in the Gas Belt the horses were taken East, first appearing at Wheeling, West Va., where Kindest Kind oaptured first money. After that the horse appeared on the traoks at Baltimore, Md, Rochester, N H , Brockton
and Boston, Mass., where he won all the money in sight and made a great hit with the eastern race-goers. Billy Smith, Mr. Thompson’s other oraok hone ws taken siok at Wheeling and has not yet folly recovered, so that he did not get s chance to make any reoord for himself. The raoeia were all held on half mile traoks, and the best reoord made by Kindest Kind was 2.1 d. Next
year he will be raoed over mile track* and then his aotnal speed will be more thoroughly tested. Kindest Kind was started 18 times during the season and ont of this number he won 13 firsts and 5 seconds whioh is a wonderful reoord for a 6 year old horse.
