Indiana Game Laws
The department of agriculture has just issued a bulletin which, puts in handy form provisions of the game laws in eaoh of the states. The closed seasons in Indiana are enumerated as follows: Deer, at all times; squirrels, January 1 to August 1, and October 1 to November 10; quail, ruffed groase, prairie ohiokens or pinnated grouse, January 1 to November 10; pheasant of any species and wild turkey, at all times; dove, at all times;) woodoook, January 1 to July 1, and October 1 to November 10; wild duok, wild goose, brant onother water fowl, April 15 to September 1, and October 1 to November 10. Game, the export of whioh is prohibited by state laws, inoludes deer, quail, grouse, prairie ohioken, pheasant, wild turkey, woodoook, duok, goose, brant or any water fowl. Penalty $lO to SIOO. A non-resident may take from the state twenty-four birds killed by himself when carried openly for inspection.
