F. A. Cjttap, State Superintendent of Publio Instruction, has issued a oiroular to the teachers and county superintendents of the schools in the state, calling ftr their best efforts in the work of preparing the school exhibit for the St. Louis world’s' fair. The actaal work of'preparing the coun-

One request of the state superirtendent is that an effort be made to oolleot the oldest textbooks to be found *in Indiana. County superintendents are instructed to advertise injjocal newspapers for old school books, and from the general collection thus obtained the oldest books will be selected and made a part of the exhibit. A speoiol bulletin relative to the preparation'of the (jounty exhibits is in preparation and Will be issued within a few days.
