Big Mule Team Trip.

Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Laßue arrived Wednesday night from their 64 days’ trip to the far northwest, most of which time was spent in Washington and Oregon. Their trip was unusual from the great distance they traveled by team through that country, their companions being their brother-in-law Clinton Sever and bis wife. In all they traveled 1100 miles in a covered wagon, propelled by a pair of mountain mules. Among other former Jasper county people they saw were J. H. Willey and his son Walter, who are located at Portland. Walter has just completed his trip around the world, which we mentioned some months ago as being in contemplation, while he was still in Australia.
