Valma Postoffice To Quit.
Valma post-office, some 5 or (5 miles northeast of to An, and in Barkley tp. f is to be discontinued on Oot. 14th ' j t W.‘ Leach, who has had a store there and was postmaster, has sold the store, and no one else is now willing to keep the postoffioe for all there is in it. So many former patrons of the office now use the rural route, that the office does hardly any business. The mail for Valma will go to Pleasant Grove. The Valma postoffice has been in existence some 8 or 10 years, or more. T. X Rich ardson was its first postmaster, and held it until a year or two ago.
