The Forty-Eighth’s Reunion.

The annual reunion of the 48th Indiana regiment, at Milford Sept 16th and 17tb, was a great suooess, as experienced by the two who attended from this vicinity, B. L. Sayler, of Company K., the Jasper ooipty oompany, and W. D. Sayler, of Company D. There were five Saylers in the regiment when it went out, all of this vicinity and four of them were in Company E. There were 66 survivors of the regiment at the reunion but only two from Oompany E. the other being 0. Westfall, of Brookaton. The veterans were treated finely at Milford, and like they owned the town. The next reunion will be held at Wakerton.
