Duty of Parents.

Editor HaimbaDgh, of the Muncie Herald, used to be a teacher, also a oounty superintendent of sohools. He is a man of practical ideas about sohools and teachers. Here is one of his suggestions: “Parents should keep in mind that they owe a duty to the child in sohool and that all the responsibility does not rest with the teacher. Many times the friotion that arises in school between teacher and pupil oould be avoided if tne parents had performed tbeir full duty. It is a good plan to visit the sohools now and then, get acquainted with the teacher, and her work. Be on friendly termr with her and see how muoh better oc-operation works than any other way.”
