The Shooting Tournament.

The big two days’ shooting tournament by the Rensselaer Gun Club ended Thursday afternoon. It was participated in by a large number of good marksmen, and of whom a large number were from outside plaoes including some from St. Lotiis, Cincinnati, Chicago etc. The targets were all blue rooks, and many excellent scores were made. Taking the whole tournament through, 0. H, Peck, of Remington made the best soore. The first day his soore tied with the redoubtable Joe Park, of iirook, each making 182 hits opt of a possible 200. The last day Charley had Joe skinned by making 186 hits to Joe 179, each out of 200 shots. For the two days together the Jasper oouuty champion’s per oent of hits was 92 while that of the Newton oouuty man was 90£ per oent. On the three events which determined the possession of the silver oup or Park was the winner. It gives him the right to keep the cup until the next annual tournament, when it must be put up again. 'But Mr. Park will then get 40 per cent of the entrance fees in the cup shooting events. The following are the scores for each of the two daye.
