Two Colored School Children.

Two colored children, both little girls, are now attending the Rensselaer public schools, One goes iu the first year olass and the other in the second. Their mother works for Mr.* McOjy’s family. They are the first genuine colored children to attend our public schools within any one’s recollection. For a Jong time certainly, if ever before. A few years ago a little girl whose mother stayed at the Makeever House attended our sohool, who was certainly not of the white raoe, but was understood to be a Spanish mullatto.
