The total wealth of the world Is roughly estimated at $410,000,000,000. Of this sum the larger part Is owned by Americans and Europeans, the United States’ share being in the neighborhood of $100,000,000,000 —about onefourth of the whole. The wealth of the United Kingdom, combining the shares of England, Scotland and Ireland, Is estimated at £11.800,000,000 — a little less tliau $IM),000,000,000, making Great Britain the richest of European nations.
