Fair Oaks.

Mrs. Geo. Hannicker and daughter ha»e been visiting friends and relatives near Parr and Fair Oaks the past week returned to their home in Valparaiso Sunday. A. M. Munden’s s'ster from Hanoock county is visiting him this week Mrs Graoe Kight went to Lafa yette Thursday to ate her 12 pound grandson who arrived at the borne of her daughter Mrs. Mike Sheean Wednesday. Mr. Kight went a few dav later. Felix Irwin spent Tuesday in in Rensselaer with his sister Mrs. H. Littlefield. Mrs. Fred Jenning with her daughters Parisaole and Freda, and her granddaughter Caroline all of Brookston spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Cottingham. Miss Gwin of Monou sp nt Sunday with her aunt Mrs. P, Zea. Grandpa Gwin of Rensselar spent few days last week with h s daugher Mrs. A. M. Muoduu. Operator Harry Zimmerman is working at Montioello at present. Harry Haus of Westville is working in his place here. Miss Maud Fry spent a few days with Mrs. P. Nelson the past week returning to her home in Miohigan City Sunday. Zern Wright was calling on friends in Fair Oaks last tfeek. Miss Minnie Hooper is visiting friends near Rensselaer. Charley Nilsin spent Sunday with hie fain ly here. Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Thompson very pleasantly entertained their friends Wednesday Aug. 26 in honor of their wedding anniversary they had been married 10 years, Mrs. Thompson served a fine dinner to 24 guests who departing at a lata hour wishing ther. host and hostess many more such pleasant events.
