Notice of Letting of Ditch Contract Notice is hereby given, that sealed bids win be received at the Auditor’s office in Kentland, Newton' County, Indiana, up to 12 o’clock M. no Monday. August 31st, 1903, for the construction of a Dredge Ditch in the counties of Newton and Jasper, known as the “Kent Ditch” No. 2870 of Newton County; No. 866 of Jasper County: commencing at the south-weet comer of Section one (1) township thirty (30), north, range eight (8) west, in Newton County, and running in a general south-easterly direction to ite outlet in the Iroquois River near the line between sections four [4] and five (5), township twenty-eight (28), north, range, seven (7), weet, in Jasper County, a total distance of 72,800 feet. Also a lateral open ditch known asthe“Koste Lateral” to said Kent Ditch, commencing at the line between Newton and Jasper Counties on west line of section thirty-one (81), township thirty (80), north, range seven (7) weet, and running thence in a general westerly direction 5065 feet to its outlet in Main Ditch at Stake 256 pins 0o feet.
