Below is given a table showing the nutrient values of various feed as determined by the United States Department of agriculture and it is interesting to study the the value of the various products. Other grains such as wheat rye and oats make good feed bu are second to corn. It has also been determined that stock fed on feed that is ground do better, than when fed the whole grain. Hogs get more strength from feed when it is ground or pulverized, consequehtly Jess feed is necessary to produce a hog ready for market, Hominy Meal whioh is the corn hearts contain a larger per cent. Fat and Protein than any other feed except Linseed Qil Meal, and more Fat and less Pfotein than found in Oil Cake.
