Teachers for 1903-1904.

Of those teaohers who were engaged in the sohools last year the following remain: Misses Stella Shields, and Cessia Bates, and Messrs O. E. Frazee, T. J. Headlee W. O. Hiatt and W. R. Sanders. Miss Stella Shields has been assigned the work formerly done by Mrs. Kaub. Miss Bessie Donaldson, a graduate of the Sobooi of Education University of Chioago, succeeds Miss Needham as teaoher of grades one and two. Miss Bertha Boyer, a graduate of the state normal at Terre Haute eucoeeds Miss Shields as second grade -'teaoher. Miss Lessie Bates continues as third grade teaoher. Miss Edith Berry, a student through Junior year in the State Normal will teach fourth grade- Miss Clara Rash will have fourth year and fifth year work. Miss Rush has had a year of University training and has tanght in the Albany (Indiana) sohools for the past three years. Miss Sara E. Wialer will have oharge of tbe fifth grade. Miss Wisler has had two years of University training doing speoial work in Pedagogy and has tanght in distriot and graded sohools for five years. Mr. Chas. Sands snooeeds Miss Esther Ralston in oharge of sixth grade. Mr. Banks has tanght for four years in the distriot schools of this oonnty and has had a year’s work in the Terre Haute Normal school Mr. Frazee continues the same work that he had last year, seventh grade.

Mr El wood E. Brooks, a graduate of the State Normal and a teaoher of several years experience will have oharge of eighth grade and assist in Mqthematios in tbs high school, Mr. Ernest L. Talbert has the department of History in the high school. Mr. Talbert is a graduate of Butler oollego and of the University of Ohioago. He has also done a year of graduate work in the latter sohool. He taught in the Kokomo high school last year. Ml. Headlee continues in oharge of the Soienoe work. Miss Maude E. Allen a graduate of Normal and also of the University of Michigan has oharge of the Latin and German. Miss Allen has taught two years in Grass Lake, Mioh., high sohool, Mias Effie Warvilfe, a graduate of Lewis Institute, and also o^Ohisa-

go University has tbe work in English. Miss Warville has had one year’s experience in teaching in high sohools. Tbe music and drawing will be directed by Miss Margaret Davidsonjuf Carthage, Illinois.
