A Double Wedding.

There was a double wedding in town, Sunday afternoon, a decidedly unsual event at any time, and practically almost a miraole now, when even single weddings are few and far between. The parties were all from Parr, or in that vioinity, and the oeremony was performed* by Rev. Joseph Cochran, the popular pastor of Rensselaer and Parr F. W. Baptist ohurohes; and took

plaoe at his residence, on south Cullen street at about 5:30 p. m. The contracting couples were Mr. John N. Price, age 20 and Miss Pearl Garriott, age 17. Mr, John Wells, age 23, and Miss Jennie Myers, age 18. All live right in Parr or ntear there exoept the last named bride, whose residence was given as Aix Their average ages was 19J years. The only witnesses were the minister’s family and Misses Bertha Hammond and Glenn Sparling.
