The Blanket Remonstrance.

S, E. Nioholson, author of the Nioholson liquor law, president o ! the Maryland Anti-Saloon League aud General Secretary of the National Anti-Saloon League, is visiting in this state. He Vrea formerly one of the most noted figures in Indiana, but after the passage of the now famous law bearing his name he moved to Baltimore, where he has been prominent in anti-saloon work. The liquor in terest of Indiana, it is now generally believed, are organizing to make a powerful effort to repeal the blanket remonstranoe injunction feature of the Nicholson law, but Mr. Nicholson declares with an air of confidence, that it will never be repealed without a stronger temperanoe law taking its place.
