Notice of Application for License. Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the village of Parr ana to the citizens of Union Township, in Jasper County. Indiana, that undersigned a male inhabitant of the state of Indiana, over the age of twenty-one years of wood moral character and not in the habit of becoming intoxicated and has been a continuous resident of said township for over ninety days last past and who Is and will be the sJ tnal owner and proprietor of said business, and will be if inch license be granted, will make application to the Board of Conuntosioners of said Jasper county, at the September Term or session of sai/4 Board, commenting on September 7, 1906 forA retail liquor license, empo ering him to sell and barter spirituous, vinous, malt and all other intoxicating liquors in less quantities than a quart at a time In less quantities than five gallons at a time with the privilege of allowing and permitting the same to be drank upon the premises where so sold and bartered. That the location of the room in which the applicant will ask for a license to sell and barter liquors as aforesaid Is on :he ground floor of a two story frame building situated upon the north end of the west twenty feet off of the west side of out lot twelve in the vil*aee °f Parr, Jasper County, Indiana. Said . ld , i , nß being more particularity described as followsi: commenting at a point three feet south of the north west corner of said out lot twelve and running thence south a distance of thirty-two feet and three Inches, thence east a distance of eighteen feet and three inches, thence north a distance of thirty-two feet and three inches, thence west a distance or eighteen feet and three inches to the place of beginning. Said room in which applicant detires to sell being thirty-one feet, live inches by seventeen feet five inches inside measurement. The applicant says that said room fronts upon Firman street, a public street in said vilmge of Parr, and that the front of said room, facing the said street is furnished with two large glass windows and one large panel door with glase therein and that the whole of said room may be viewed from the street; that there is one-window upon the west side, thereof and one door and one window in the south end of said room; that the said room is separate and apart from any other business of any kind whatever; that there are no devices for amusement or music of any kind or character in or about said room ;' that the same can be securely locked and admission thereto at all times prevented, and that there are no partitions or partition in said room. The applicant says that he is qualified as an nppucant for said license for the said place. The applicant will ask for a license for a period of one year and permission to sell cigars' and tobaccos in connection therewith. AMIEL J. ftTIBBK. Notice of Hearing of Ditch Petition. IN THE MAHER OF THE PETITION OF T. A. GARRISON, ET AL. VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition 11 has been filed with the auditor of Jasper ci county, State of Indiana, and viewers have been appointed who have made and reported their view, which report ia on file in my office. The hearing of said petition and report upon their merits will be had before the board of Commissioners of said county, Tuesday, the Bth day of September, 1908, the same being the second day of their September term, 1908. The prayer of said petition is that a ditch be constructed on the following route, to-wit: Beginning 800 feet sonth and 80 feet west of the Northeast, corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 19, Township 27, North, Range 8, west, and running thence in a general northerly direction to Its outlet, near center of northwest quarter of section 0, Township 28. north, range 6, west, a total length of 69,400 feet. Abo a lateral ditch No. 1, beginning 120 rods east of the Southwest corner of Section 82, Township 28 north, Range 6 west, and running thence in a general northerly direction to lta outlet in main ditch, at Station 460, a total length of 12 900. Also a lateral No. 2, beginning 25 rods west and 26 rods south of the northeast corner of the south half of the southwest quarter of section 28. township 28 north, range 6 west, and running in a general easterly direction to the main ditch, a distance of feet to its outlet in main ditch, at Station 461. Also a spur to lateral No. 1, known as Nissius’ Spur, beginning in old ditch known aa Dobbins’ Ditch, near the quarter section oorner on the sonth line of section 28. township 28 north, range 6 west, and running in a general northwesterly direction, in old ditch to its outlet in said lateral No. 1, at Station 110, oa west line of said section 28, a distance of 8,972 feet. Said work to be partly tile and partly open ditch. Said proposed ditches will affect the . . lands of the following named persons: Robert W.
