Brockway Returns The Favor.
Henry Brookway, a demented inmate of the oonnty asylum, has heretofore led the successive superintendents many a weary chase in looking np and returning him to that establishment, after he had taken oooasion to ran away. This time, however it was not a oaae of the superintendent hunting Brookway bnt of Brookway hunting the superintendent.
It seems that last Thursday Superintendent Bine went np to the Kankakee expeoting to be home by Friday night. He found fishing so good, however, that he could not tear himself away from it S 3 soon, and so he staid a few days longer. At noon Saturday, Brookway hiked oat, evidently in search of his missing superintendent. He walked to the vicinity of his former home, near DeMotte, that day; and staid there all night. Bunday moroiag he struck out again, and towards night, he rolled into Mr. Blue’s oamp on the river north of DnnnviUe. He was just about tickled to death when he found Mr. Bine. He stayed in the oamp all night and very oheerfnlly returned with Mr. Bine and his party, today. He mast have walked about 40 mile* in all. Fishing on the Kankakee is fair now, although no saoh sensational strings are oanght aa last year. Joe Sharp oanght a good mixture of base, pickerel and oat-fish Sunday. The Bine party, who 'were at Dnnn’a bridge a week, oanght only 40 or 50 the whole week. Bnt what they did oatoh were fine fish. * j '
