Two Big Diamond Contests.

Two finely mounted diaiponds are now on exhibition in Huff’s and Clarke’s jewelry stores. One is mounted for a 'gentleman’s shirt stud, the other as a lady’s ring; and they are each worth $75. They are to be given as prizes in two popularity contest*, at the ooming street oarnival. The rj.ng to the most popular young lady; the stud to the most popular young man. Votes for each are 10 cents apiece, and the tickets are now on sale at Long’s, Larsh’s andFendig’s t rug stores, and at Huff’s and Clarke’s jewelry stores. The voting will all ba doae at Fendig’s drug store, aud the ballot boxes are now open. The balloting will close on Friday night, August 28th, at 10 o’olock. The ring contestants, so far as announced are Misses Bessie King, Fannie Porter, and True George. The stnd contestants so far lined np. are Frank Kresler, Rex Warner,
