Death of Mrs Gertie Bushey Barnes.

From Elwood oomes the news of the death, Sunday morning, under very sad oironmstanoee, of a young wife and mother who, as a girl, lived many years in Bensselaer. It was Mrs. Gertie Bushey Barnes, wife of W. T. Barnes, an employe of the tin plate works, at Elwood. In her death, whioh was very sudden and unexpected, she left motherless a baby boy only two hours old. She was about 25 years old and greatly esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral was held today, by Bev. J. 8 Grant, a Christian minister of Alexandria. Interment was inElwood Cemetery. They Bushey family left here about five years ago, for Elwood, and Gertie was 'married there about three years ago.
