Congressman Crumpaoker is authority for the statement that there will be a special session of congress, before the usual time of convening on the first Monday in December, for the purpose of taking up the ourrenoy question. Some measure to lend elasticity to the ourrenoy system is intended to be neither tEe Aldrich nor the Fowler bill, but some enactment that will have the approval of such men as Senators Spooner and Allison and of prospective Speaker Cannon, Valparaiso Messenger.
