Moffitt Ditch Sub-Let.

David H. Yeoman, contractor of the big Moffitt joint ditoh, in Jasper and Newton oounties, has just sub-let the entire job. The persons to whom he has sub-let it are 8. B. Moffitt, of near Fair Oaks, and who is very largely interested in the ditch, and F. M. Norton, of DeKalb county and David D. Lehman, of Elkhart county. The last two are professional ditoh contractors and have several large dredges. They will begin the work of putting in a dredge for the ditoh, at once, and expect to have it ready to begin work in about a month. They are vouched for as entirely reliable men, who will do the job right in every respect. They have also secured the suboontraot for another big joint ditch, the A 1 May ditoh, in Jasper and White oountiee. It is understood that Mr. Yeoman made a good profit on his contraot, but just what amount is not made publio. Having his stone crusher and his big farm to look after, he concluded that he had best not undertake the ditoh also.
