July Weather Record.
In July there were 12 days here with a maximum temperature of 93 degrees or above, 8 of these being in the first third of the month. The highest temperature was 95 degrees, on the 4th and Bth. There was no long spell of intolerable heat like July often has. There were several quite cool days, the ooolest being the 15th when the average was only 62 degrees. The lowest mark during the month was 50degrees, on the night of the 14th. It was a record making month for sunshine; there being 20 days reoorded dear, 10 partly clear and only one wholly oloudy. The rainfall was liberal and well distributed, being a total of 4.85 inches, and coming on 9 different days. The greatest in any one day was 1.35 inches, on the 17th. During 16 days of the month the prevailing direction of the wind was northerly.
