Desirable Acquisitions,

The Republican party has absorbed from the Democratic ranks since 1896 many of its most valuable members. Kentucky has supplied Ex-Seoator Lindsey, W. O. P. Breckenridge, Gen. Buokner Basil Duke and William C. Owen In 1892 001. Owen was the permanent chairman of the convention that nominated Cleveland and oh taking the chair electrified the great audience by a remarkably brilliant speech. He presided at the Republican state convention at Louisville the other day. Indiana has furnished Gen. Cauby, Ex-Congressman Bynam, Ex-Con-gres-man W. E. English, Senator Dausman and many others. Other states have done equally as well. r
