Remington Pre6s: James Lock attended the big sale of Poland China hogs at Macy this week and reports the moat sersitional prices for choice individuals. Chief Perfection 2nd, the sire of L. & W, Perfection, sold in shares for $34,250, more than four times as much as was ever paid for a hog before, the top price previously being SB,400 for Majestic Perfection, who by the way is a son of the above hog and litter brother to L. & W. Perfection. A pig by the latter boar brought SIOOO at this sale. The marriage of two former Remington young people, who by the way are first oonsins occured Thursday of last week at the bride’s home in Duluth, Minn.. the contracting paities being Mr. Leon Shaw, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John K. Shaw, and Miss Mate Maxwell, daughter of the late Dr and Mrs. S. C. Maxwell. The degree is easier to get now than it used to be however, for formerly it was necessary to go to Scotland to get it; but now it is conferred in Boston. Gov.
