The Indiana Board of Stite Charities is preparing for war against the American Home Finding Association, of Ohioago. This organization, whioh is quits well known and h9s placed a number of children in this county has it is oharged, 7 been placing children in the northern p ut of the st it* without complying with tbe law which requires outside beuevolent organizations to file bond in Indiana which is t» be forfeited in aase their wards ever become public oharges. Members of the state board feel that they need the whole stite to work in to find homes for dependent ohildren under their oare and therefore they are proposing to draw the reins strictly on the Ohioago organization. The report of officers of tbe state board showed that in the last quarter 332 ohildren have been visited in their new homes, and of these only 20 are doing poorly. Homes were found for 63 in this period,
