Can We buy a Library Site?—A Few Facts Concerning Same. Neither Council nor Board has any sita or ready money to buy one. The Board was organized April Kbb, and on June 15th selected a suitable site. On June 220 d the Council appioved said site if paid for. On .Juue 29ih the Board reported to Mr. Carnegie aud ue holds his offer good until August 25th. The deed has been sent for to be delivered or returned August 25th. The time will not permit taxation to buy the aite unless the offer is ex tended. The Board has issued an address and asks a subscription. S'hree fourths of the purchase price has beeu subscribed and if an additional #3OO 00 is paid before August 25th the building will be erected » The Moss site stauds approved by Mr. Carnegie, the Council, the School Trustees, the Directors of the Jasy er Library, and this Board.
