A Circus Day Rumpus.
Omer and Everett Merrel), Jim Noland, of the Gifford district, and Bob McKinney, of south of town, were arrested Saturday, for connection with a row that took place in the ulley, back of Eger’s grocery, and were tried before Squire Troxell. It appeared at the trial, that all the connection young McKinney had with'the affair was to take a thumping at hands of Everett Merrell. And Omer Merrell and Jim Noland's share was to prevent the bystanders from etoppiug the fight. McKinney was therefor? acquitted and the three ethers were each fined $1 and costs, making SlO in all. Noland and Omer paid, but Everett is laying his out in jail. MoKinney Jwas reported badly beaten, but his injuries were not extensive.
