A Difference in Ice.
The difference between manufactured ice and natural ice is that one Is a live product of the Creator, while the other is the dead product of mere man and his little machine. You may lay a 'cliiirik'of hygela Ice on the pavement and leave it there till it melts, but you will never see it steam or give off that live frigidity which is the essence of coolth. On the other hand, try a piece of lake ice and see it smoke and radiate. It lives and dies; manufactured ice cannot die, because it is dead in the beginning. Air is life; hygeia ice has no air in it; lake ice is full of air.
