Billy Smith, the Rensselaer trotter, did not get 'any money at the raoe at Lafayette, Wednesday, for he got into an awfttl hard bunch to beat, but he did soiffe traveling that shows that he is a mighty good horse, and who is practioally oertain [to win some big money before the season is over. There were nine starters in the raoe with him, and some of them among the best horses on the traok.
