Can Manderville returned Monday, bom a business trip to Goodland and Veedersburg. Miss Marselle MeCaug, of Chicago is visiting this week with Mr. Bringles’family and other friends. Mrs. A 1 Moore, of Lafayette spent several days the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Moffitt. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Gundy returned Saturday from Wheatfield, where they had been for a few days with her father, Mr. John MoGlinn who is very siok. Mrs. John Mundon and children, of Momenoe, are spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. A. Mundon. Mrs. P. Nelson and children returned from Chioago Saturday accompanied by Miss Needham, an. aunt of Mrs, Nelson’s. Miss Rills Cox, of Lafayette, visited at her father’s, Mr. Jim Cox, also with Mrs. Isaac Kight and other friends this week. Miss Carrie Spry, of Momenoe, is spending the week with her sistpr, Mrs. Isaao Kight.

* John Kight was a Lafayette visitor Monday. Joe Brown is reported qaite siok with heart trouble. Miss Jennie Cottingham and Mr. I,ee Dewitt, of Chioago, spent Sunday with the former’s parents. The ball game Sunday between Rensselaer and Parr resulted in saver of Parr 17 to 9. Mrs, P. Zea very pleasantly entertained the M. E. sewing circle at Thursday. A fine dinner was served in honor of her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Shehan and daughter Buelah, of Lafayette, were the guests of Mrs. Shehan’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaao Kight, the past week. Mr. Jones, of Rensselaer, is filling Operator H. Zimmerman’s pos n here, fle is getting along fine with his work.
