Present Site Good Enough.
The Indiana W orld’s Fair commissioners have decided to retain the site for the state building at the fair which was picked 'out by them at the time of the dedication of the exposition group. Overtures were made to the oommiesion by Secretary Reeves of the St. Louis oommittee on state and territorial exhibits offering what
he considered a better site. The building oommittee oomposed of Commissioners Frank C. Ball of Munuie, Senator W. H , O’Brien of Lawrenoeburg, and D, W. Kinsey of Newcastle, after taking a speoial trip to St. Louis to examine the new site, has announced its determination to hold the original site. The Indiana building according-
ly will be looated almost in the oenter of the spaoe allotted for state buildings at the junotion of two of the most important avenues Arkansas, lowa and Rhode Island and New Jersey will be close neighbors of the Qoosier state in this arrangement, and in this setting the 'building committee feels sure the structure to whioh Indiana’s name will be attaohed jwill make a splended showing, The building will oooupy a small hill raise it above ;he surrounding state buildings and from whioh it will be possible o seoure an excellent view over the grounds.
