Close To The Cloud Burst.
Renaselaar had one citizen right on the danger line when the terrible cloud-burst oooured at Jeannette, Pa., with its great loss of life and destruction of property. It was Mr. Van buyn, the traveling man of the Barcas Horse Btocks Company. He writes that he was within a mile of the cloudburst when it ocoared. He hurried to the spot as near as safety would permit. Siw houses crashed in by the raging water, and depots and bridges go to pieces like kindling wood. He also saw 8 dead bodies. He was at Buffalo when he wrote his letter, at which time the temperature was 96 and 98 in the shade, which is hotter than it has yet been here.
