Held Up In Chicago.
Two Rensselaer young people were the victims of a hold-up in Chicago, last Tuesday. They were Lawson Meyers and Mies Mary Porter, the latter of whom is attending a business oollege there. They were walking through Washington Park, in the evening, and were attacked by a white man and two negroes. One of them led Miss Porter away some distanoe and held her, while the others went through Lawson’s pockets, taking his watch and 971 n money; generously leaving him 15 cents for car fare, They took nothing from Miss Porter, owing to her entreaties not to rob her.
