Most people from our vicinity spent the Fourth at Fair Oaks. Earl Newland and Ben Clouse, of Newland, were seen in our vicinity Monday. James Torbet and family, of near Blackford, spent Saturday and Sunday with his son-in-law, Harry Beck aud family, of near MoCoysburg. Ben Clouse is fixing Mr. Barkly’s well this week Harry Gifford, of Newland, was seen in onr vioinity Monday. A. B. Dunfee who had bis leg broken about two weeks ago, is able tc walk again Miss Maggie Torbet, of near Blackford, ?pent Sunday with Jennie Nuss.
