Death of a Former Resident
Lewis C. Stockwell, son of Dr. and Margaret Stookwell died at his home at Traoey City, Tenn., Jane 16,1903. The cause of his death was rhenmatißm, and spinal trouble the latter caused from being kioked by a horse, in the baok, 17 years ago, when be lived in Jasper Co. Ind. He moved to Tennessee 8 years ago and has been in very poor health for 4 years. His age was 41 years, 9 months, and 15 days. He has been a preacher in the Baptist church for a few years past. Be married Maggie Braddock in 1833, and seven children were bom to their union, all of whom survive him. He also leaves father, mother, two sisters, and one brother, besides wife and ohiidren to mourn bis death. The sisters being Mrs. John N. Baker, of Rensselaer, and Mrs. Geo. M. Hershman of Manchester, Tenn , and the brother Lemuel Stookwell ,of Manchester, Tenn.
