Notice of Letting of Dredge Ditch. 1. vv ... .... ~ . ... /JJJiJI 1 1 ' Notice is Riven, that on Monday July 20th, 1906, until 12 o'clock Mos said day, sealed bids will be received at the office of the Auditor of Jasper County, Indiana, at the City ot Rensselaer, for the construction of a public ditch In Jasper and Newton Counties, known as the “Moffltt Ditch,” and be numbered 410 on the Commissioners records of Jasper County, and numbered 2026 of the Commissioners records of Newton County, and commencing at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of section 34, township 81 north, range 7 west and terminating in the Kankakee River near the east side or section 11, township 81 north, range 9 west The work of constructing said ditch will be let to the lowest and best bidder or bidders; and will be let in two separate sections or sabdivisions. The lower section commences at stake 488 and terminates at stake 881, and is 444*0 feet long and contains 211,016 cubic yards, and must be completed by August Ist, 1904.
