Fell Down Stairs.
The two year old child of Mr. and Mrs. John Maloney, who were visiting the former sister, Mrs. Mary Drake, in the south part of town, met with a< very serious accident, Saturday morning, whioh oame very near resulting in death. In some manner the ohild who had got too near the cellar jtairr lost his balance and fell to the bottom, :1b fatting the child struck the basement floor on his head, cafising concussion of the brain. He < went into convulsion and become unconscious, from which he did not revive for more than thirty-six hours. Very grave fears Were entertained that the child would never regain consciousness, add if he did would not live, but a ohange for the better, has resulted and we are informed that this morning there is now a very good prospect of bis oomplete recovery.
