A Former Jasper County Resident Lost In The Flood,

The first and very likely only person who was ever a resident of Jasper oounty, who lost their life in the recent flood has just been reported to us. Miss Florence French, formerly of Remington, who is a daughter of Lase French formerly of that plaoe. but now of Hepuer, Oregon fwas the vioitim. Her parents lived just a little ways out of the town, thus escaped the flood. The young lady we understand was staying with some friends in the villiage and when the destructive wave came down on the town was swept, away and was reported missing.
