Smile Wins Fortune.
Bonnie Burnham of Whiting, Ind., a school girl still in her teens, has just received a letter from the attorney of the Thomas Duggings estate, at Pensaoola, Fla., notifying her that she had been bequethed the sum of $25,000. While attending the Meroy convent, at Pensioola, Miss Burnham and her mother were walking in the park, when she noticed an old man sitting on a bench. She turned to him and smiled and asked him if he was enjoying the sunshine. The old man beoame attracted by the girl’s pleasant disposition and asked to be presented to the family. From that time on he has been a friend of the Burnham family and is in his will said he would bequeath $25,000 “to Bonnie Burnham, who was kind to me.”
