A Monticello Pastor Threatened.

, The Rev. J. H. Dodd, pastor of the Christian’ohuroh at Montioello, has reoeived an anonymous letter warning him against further efforts to proseoute violators of the law. The letter reads: “Rev. Dodd—you have gone the limit in your efforts to kill the town. We have business interests here and don’t propose to have them destroyed by an outsider of your stamp. If no notioe is taken of this timely warning, prompt aotion of another and perhaps strenuous sort will be resorted to.-A Citizen ’’ Rev. Dodd was reoently instrumental in oausing all the slot machines in Monticello to be remov* ed, and he intends proceeding against violators of the law, so far as they effeot the morality of the town. He is a young minister and has been looated there three years.
