Notice is hereby given, that on Friday, the Teuth Day of July 1903. at a special called seeeion of the Board of Commiaeioners of Jasper County, State of Indiana, said Board will let to the lowest responsible bidder, by sealed bids, the construction of “The Hanging Grove Gravel Road’’ ordered by said Board of Commissioners constructed in the Township of Hanging Grove, in said County, according to plans and specifications now on file in the Auditof’r Office, or said County, which road is of a total length of six and fiftynine one hundredths (6 59-J00) miles. Bidders will be required to file with bids, bonds to the approval of the County Auditor in double the amount of the bid made. Bids to be on file by 12 o'clock m. Notice of Ditch Letting. Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will on the 20th day of June, 1906, in pursuance of an order of the White Circuit Court, Indiana. made at its April Term, 1906, at the office Of the Surveyor of White County, Indiana, let the work of constructing the public ditch petitioned for by William F. Horton, et al, in the Counties of White, Jasper and Pulaski, Indiana, by contract to the lowest and best bidder, by stations. Persons whose lands are assessed as benefltted shall have preference over others for as many stations as will at the same rate equal the amount of their assessments. Such letting will be conducted in exact accordance with the act concerning drainage, approved April 6th, 1385, and the amendments thereto. Any person who shall become entitled to contract for any part of said work shall at once enter into a written contract, with this commissioner to perform said work at the time and in the manner required by me, and shall secure the performance of such contract by a bond with surety to my approval and In such sum as I shall fix, and shall also therein secure the payment of all damages resulting from a failure to perform such contract in strict accordance to its terms.
